
Taofeek Olusola AYINDE, Ph.D., ACA
Dr. Taofeek Olusola AYINDE specializes in Financial Econometrics and Quantitative Economics and teaches Introductory Mathematical Economics, Econometrics, Applied Monetary Economics together with Advanced Microeconomics in the Department of Economics, Fountain University, Osogbo, Nigeria. Dr. T. O. Ayinde, an Alumnus and a Network member of the African Economic Research Consortium (AERC), is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics, Fountain University, Osogbo, Nigeria and a Research Fellow of the Research and Development Training (READT) International. He also doubles as a Non-Residential Research Fellow (NRF) of the Centre for Econometric and Applied Research (CEAR), Ibadan and an International Research Fellow (IRF) of the University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. He completed a Collaborative Ph.D. Programme (CPP) sponsored by the AERC and awarded by the University of Ibadan in January 2020. Dr. Ayinde won a Ph.D. Thesis grant awarded by the AERC and also got a Ph.D. Fellowship to the University of Cape-Town in South Africa sponsored by the World Bank, GIZ Germany and the AERC in the year 2018. He is also a member of the Nigerian Economics Society (NES) and a researcher of the Central Bank Research Association (CEBRA). He became an Associate of the Association of Accounting Bodies in West Africa (AABWA) in 2007 and an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) in 2010. Dr. Ayinde has published widely in both local and international outlets and he is a reviewer to many journals and publishers; including the Elsevier publications, indexed journals in SCOPUS, Scholar One and Springer journals. He has nine (9) years of teaching and thirteen (13) years of research experiences and currently the Sub-Dean of Postgraduate School of Fountain University, Osogbo. Besides, he is the current Chairman of Amuludun Royal CDA in Gberigbe, Ikorodu Lagos.

- Co-Recipient – Collaborative Research Grant Sept., 2018- Sept., 2019. The Grant was awarded by the AERC on Employment Generation along Cassava Value Chains in Nigeria on the Collaborative Research Theme: “Evolution of Agricultural Value Chains in Sub-Saharan Africa”.
